Today, May 9, is the day that I make a slow jump into the uncertain, muddy, messed-up world of entrepreneurship. Trippin Traveller and LifeWordsmith were launched. No fanfare. And no red carpet. Certainly, not even the cutting of a ribbon. There are times when I wonder if the world of business with its ‘ get rich fast and get out fast’ attitude is really me. But it’s challenging to learn. I still dream of a beautiful village set in the mountains where I am surrounded by gentle people who I love and who love me in return. I am yet to find that village. Something tells me that there are mountains I must first knock down in my mind before I do that.
For now, though, a quiet word of gratitude. Made it this far. Let me walk a little bit more.
